Overview
Caminet ("the App") is a professional equipment tracking tool for film and production crews, developed by Darien Golden / 35 Stripes Film & Production ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is stored and protected.
By using Caminet you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect

We do not collect location data, contacts, health data, financial information, browsing history, or any advertising identifiers. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to any third party.
How We Use Your Information
- Authenticating you and managing your session securely
- Displaying your name and photo to other members of your production crew inside the App
- Tracking equipment check-out/check-in history for production accountability
- Sending push notifications about equipment status, shoot changes, and alerts you opt in to
- Enabling calendar sync if you explicitly choose to add a shoot to your device calendar
- Providing admin users with activity logs and reports within the App
We do not use your information for any purpose beyond what is necessary to operate the App.
Data Storage & Security
Your account data is stored on our backend server hosted by Railway (railway.app), a cloud infrastructure provider based in the United States. All communication between the App and our server uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure Keychain and are never written to iCloud or any other sync service. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt on the server and are never stored in plain text.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When an account is deleted, associated personal data is removed from active records promptly, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Third-Party Services
Caminet uses the following third-party services. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

We do not integrate any third-party advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social login providers.
Device Permissions
Caminet requests the following device permissions. All are optional unless noted, and can be revoked at any time in Settings → Privacy on your iPhone.

Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have the right to:
- Access — view the personal information stored about you (visible in your profile within the App)
- Correct — update your name, email, or profile photo at any time in the App
- Delete — permanently delete your account and associated data directly from the App via Profile → Security → Delete Account
- Opt out of push notifications — disable any or all notification types in Profile → Notifications, or revoke permission in iOS Settings
- Opt out of calendar sync — revoke calendar access in iOS Settings at any time
Account deletion removes your personal data from active records. Some anonymized or aggregated records (e.g. audit logs referencing equipment transactions) may be retained for operational integrity but will not identify you by name.
Children's Privacy
Caminet is a professional tool intended for adults working in film and media production. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Caminet after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
